Westmount is a city on Montreal Island, Quebec, on the southwestern slopes of Mount Royal, enclosed by the City of Montreal but remaining a separate municipality. Victorian and early-20th-century homes, a walkable commercial street, and parks below the mountain give it a distinct on-island identity. About 20,000 people live in Westmount.
