Midland is a town on Georgian Bay in Simcoe County, Ontario, at the heart of historic Huronia. A working harbour, downtown streets, and nearby Wye Marsh and Sainte-Marie among the Hurons shape its identity as a bayfront service and tourism centre. Highway 12 and the Georgian Bay coastline bring cottage and cruise traffic through town. About 18,000 people live in Midland.
